the fine print

disclaimer

Tarot should never be used in lieu of legal or medical/psychiatric advice or care.

Any suggestions made during a reading are simply that: suggestions and offers, not directives.

I assume no liability for any actions you choose to take as a result of your interpretation of our reading and discussion.

A tarot reading is a reflection of the present moment. Although it can be used as a tool to better understand what is on the horizon, predictions made in readings are subject to free will and change.

my commitments to you

I will be transparent, honest and non-judgemental.

I will share what I see from a heart-centered and well-intended space.

I will be clear about what questions I can answer and what readings I can do.

I will maintain complete confidentiality and privacy regarding all that is discussed during our session.

what I ask of you

Be clear about your capacity, needs and intentions for the reading.

Be mindful of my time and respectful of the cancelation policy.

Be open-minded and curious.

Be aware that this reading is for you and you only. I will not do readings for others without their consent.

scheduling & cancellation policy

Unless directly coordinated with me, appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

All cancellations or rescheduled sessions should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

You will not be subjected to a fee for your first short-notice cancellation (less than 24 hours in advance) or no-show.

Any repeat short-notice cancellation or rescheduled session will be subject to a $30 cancellation fee.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your reading, I may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. I will do my very best to reschedule your reading for another time that is convenient to you.

In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, the cancellation fee will be waived.

preparation & integration

preparation

Before your reading:

Reflect on a few questions you would like to ask during our reading together.

Make sure that you have privacy and are in an environment where you feel safe and comfortable.

Prepare a cup of tea, a glass of water or another refreshment.

Cleanse your space: tidy up, light a candle, place some crystals around you, light incense, infuse essential oils, refresh your altar, smudge with herbs if that is in alignment with your cultural practices.

Get grounded: take some deep breaths, meditate, stretch, turn off your phone, repeat affirmations.

Check in: if you have a practice of communicating with ancestors, or guides, do so. Check in with your body and your mind--what are you carrying? What is taking up space and energy? What can you release? Be clear about what you are bringing with you to our session.

Give your energetic consent for the reading to happen. Allow yourself to be open and ready to receive.

integration

After your reading:

Drink water, eat a nourishing meal or snack.

Go for a walk, move, dance, be in your body.

Take a nap.

Take a bath.

Be in nature.

Journal your reflections, thoughts and feelings.

Schedule a call or hang out with a confidant to debrief.

Listen to yourself, and do what feels right and needed—you know yourself best.
